To everyone on their way to ISH

Be safe, be careful, look out for each other. Travel in groups, let others know where you are going. Take in the wonder that is ISH, drink from the knowledge of the world. Get ready to be shocked and awed. See what we are missing in the US, and be grateful for what we have. Do not try and keep up with Dan and Bob Boltz, for when it comes to drinking beer, you will not win. Make sure you take in the pastry shops, for they have made me what I am today. Dave Yates, try not to have a heart attack when you see the sewage and water systems. You may want to bring your Boy Scout water purification Kit. Remember, beer kills all intestinal viruses known to man. Above all, come back to us safe and sound, so that we can envy you for going. Just for fun, try and figure out where Dan and Bob go each day while you are lost in the exibition halls. If you bribe the hotel desk clerk enough, you may be able to get into the mechanical room of the hotel, and view the long sought, always promised, but never seen "variable speed pump" that will be coming to America soon! I will be with Dan and Bob both! I'll be the one with drag marks on my back after they pull me back to my room each night by my feet(G).

I am so looking forward to having my mind blown away by the European hydronics market. I'm a blank slate, which the guys and Lois will tell you is normal(G).

Then there's the plumbing halls! You didn't think PAH was going to miss an opportunity to check out the shower hall, now did you?

My 16 year old informs me that TV stations show XXX rated stuff, the public parks have naked women running around in the buff and that little people can drink alcoholic beverages. This he knows by way of a foreign exchange student! I told him that meant I would never make it to the convention, much less leave my hotel room & what did having midgets drinking beer have to do with anything? He was not amused - go figure.

Wow, I thought we were going to drink beer ! This is going to be great !

I truley believe that beer and hydronics are as natural as ham and cheese. I have been thinking about going on this trip for years now and here it is only hours away. I DO have the digital camara with me and will try to NOT look too wide eyed.
