ZCP Panels

Here are some Danfoss panels we modified for a large snowmelt/pool/spa heat application. We added a tekmar 661/091 snow sensor and control to operate the three snowmelt zones. The smaller ZCP on the bottom left is a modified mini-tube injection panel devised by Robert Bean. Rather than vary the flow rate (a la variable speed pump), the flow rate through the mini-tube injection bridge remains constant while the temperature modulates via a four way motorized valve. The sensor is on the snowmelt manifold 90 feet away. The system worked great during the 2+ foot snowstorm we received several weeks ago.

We added a Triangle Tube heat exchanger to heat a fish pond. Actually it keeps it from freezing with a setpoint of 41*F.

Two Burnham Evolution boilers supply the four Danfoss panels.
