Old \"Flue-type\" rads

Options
Quite a number available in the San Francisco area via ebay.

Pricey (by Swampeast MO standards) but we know you're ALL rich out there ;)

    We worked

on his house when he did his remodel. Radiant in the basement slab; staple-up on the first floor and forced air on the two floors above. He should have re-used those radiators for the upper floors; they are gorgeous.

He calls them steam radiators, but his old system was hot water.

Made by T. C. Joy & Co. in Titusville, PA. Nobody on The Wall (including Dan) had ever heard of them.

    Thought I remembered similar...

...from a previous picture posted here. At least a year ago?

A real pity if those wind up making a Howitzer or an Abrams (at least the part that's not depleted uranium).

    Wow!!

Those are just gorgeous. I've seen some ornate rads in my time but nothing compared to that. They don't look over painted either. If I track down a used rad for a customer I always have it blasted and primed before install. They look good enough to plug and play.
