I agree with John T-Drill brand may be tops. Properly maintained they should last many many years.

If you are doing 1" and smaller on an intermitent basis REMS and a few others make a smaller simpler version for less bucks.

My first T-Drill payed for itself on the first job, a condo project we plumbed and heated. As John stated, watch for deals on used ones. Be sure to check the history, and origin, of the tool however should you need warranty work.

T Drill

Mine is from T drill industries,I believe.The thing is awesome.It makes my jobs look even wilder.The only thing bad about them is the price tag.

I found mine on E-bay and it was rather reasonable.Just be carefull if you buy one there or used as T drill is less than helpfull if your not the original owner.
