I have recently become interested in hydronic heating. I live in Arkansas and have been told that hydronic heating would be a bad idea due to fluctations in temperature. I would greatly appreciate any advise and suggestions.

Hydronics in Dixie.
Hydronics works ANYWHERE if properly designed.
If you are talking about weather temperature fluctuations, then we just design a fast response, low mass system.
It's still the sweetest way to go...period!

I cover parts of Arkansas
Northwest area. I'm located near Springfield, Missouri. Radiant works well when designed and installed to your application. Be leary of the "one system fits all" www approch. I get calls frequenty with "through the mail" systems with control and other issues.
I, too, am a fan of low mass for areas like yours with wide temperature swings. Let me know if I can help guide you.
