Munchkin blower failure

We have had several blower failures on munchkin 199 boilers.
All have been a structural failure of the plastic fan attachment to the motor shaft. Has happened to boilers with minimal vent and with considerable vent runs. Anyone else seen this problem?

    Blower failures

    The factory is aware of the component failures. My understanding is they are working with the blower company on a beefed up blower. To be out soon. We are not seeing them fail on boilers with the 925 control. The control seems to ramp up slower. Less torque- less stress on the impeller.

    Munchkin Blowers

    The new blowers are available. Our rep has updated all his stock. The new blowers include a new wire harness that will eliminate improper installation. Might want to order a new fan outlet gasket if you have an older unit. Request a new unit drop shipped from the factory. Then you will get the new version.

    new syle blower motors are in and available for the 199M
