It would sure be fun to see/meet some of the brothers here in the midwest but my schedule doesn't have enough hours in it. The youngest son is in the middle of basketball tournaments, We're right in the middle of a complete gut and replace job in a weekend home that froze solid. (have any of you ever seen an LP tank frozen off before the primary regulator) I mean toilets split in half, boiler cracked, even the HWH and water softener are split. The list goes on...........
Any how, Hoist one for me and welcome to the ccccooooollld midwest. (-9* this AM)

your not alone bro..
I am guilty of spending to much time working IN my business than ON it. Chin up, the weather will improve! I could only imagine the inspiration from such a meeting. Everytime I go to one of Dans seminars I thank him for keeping me in this business. I went to one of his first seminars 10+- years ago, and he truly was the one who made me believe there is life in the heating business - the inspiration I got kept me in HVAC/R work even though I was studying civil engineering. I just wasnt sure at the time that there was a niche that combined all the things I was looking to do. Now I know there are no dead ends, but lots of Dead Men.0 -
Me too
I'll miss the WSII as well, but I'm sure you guys (and gals) can bend a few elbows for me. Before you go feeling sorry for me -- I'll be in Palm Springs at an ACCA conference. Probably warmer than my neighbrohood right now.0 -
I'll be thinking
of you. I have to get ready for a trip to Italy at the end of the month. My daughter is going to the U. of Bologna and my family will be spending a couple of weeks with her.
I'm also making a trip to Florence where I've hired a guide who speaks English (who's also a mountain bike rider) to show me around town and I want to spend at least part of a day with some heating contractors to see how they do things there.
Have fun you guys!! I'll try to be there for WS III.
