Heatmakers boilers

Does anyone have any ideas? I have a Heatmaker (that I did NOT put in) model #HW-M2-130N. The heat transfer module is warping on the bottom where the inducer attaches. When running, the HSI and the bottom of the module get cherry red. Is there a problem with these modules plugging? It's been in for seven years. Please help!!

Heatmaker prob
Has the ignitor been replaced recently? Sounds like a new gasket wasn't used or installed improperly and heat escaped from the combustion chamber. I've seen this happen and crack the stainless steel coil enclosure from intense heat. If the coil was clogged you'd notice decreased performance or a strong odor at the vent termination. There is some maintenance involved in cleaning the exerior of the coil especially if the firing rate is off, about every 5 yrs is typical. The flame holder needs cleaned too. Has the combustion ever been set up with a gas analyzer? I'm sure you're going to a lot of posts to rip it out and replace it but like anything, this is a good boiler installed properly. You can order a new heat exchanger from Laars and replace it a lot cheaper than replacing the unit. E-mail me off the board if you have any problems or questions.
