The only problem I can imagine...
would be fighting the overpowering urge to run to McDonalds for a bag of fries!
I've heard of diesel engines running on Crisco. Don't know why a boiler couldn't. Heck if they can run a boiler on used crankcase oil and automatic transmission fluid, why not french fry grease.

I saw one that would burn blue,
yesterday. I am with Mark on the need to go eat.
Bio-deisal is the fuel for me and I know who will make is burn.
When are we going to run out of dinosaurs fuel? Maybe Dawbya knows.
Get with Alan and go see.

Black Liquer
Pulp and paper mills in the N.W. use the sap off the wood shavings to fire a large portion of the boiler load. The "fuel" tends to be sticky and thick when cold, but when it's hot it pumps just fine. Nat'l gas brings everything up to temp and then they spray it in like like fuel oil. Once it's running they use steam to maintain the temp. Lot's of BTU's!
More than you really wanted to know.

Strange thing
about the wells that supply dinosaur fuel. They pump 'em dry & forget 'em. Then a few years later it is there again. Just like a beer glass in Frankfurt. Hard to leave it empty.

That I wnt to see:
I set up a 10 or 12 GPH Carlin to do maple sugar sap to candy. The guy was to old to cut wood, so am I. I guess my point is we need to watch what we use.
Thanks,
Mark
