Has anyone had experience with this type of air cleaner for a forced air system? What brand do you recommend?

    Lifebreath

I prefer the Lifebreath TFP2000 or the TFP3000. They consistently have the highest particle capture rate over time. The filters are easily replaceable and is rated "best buy" from Consumer's Report. This is considered a medical device in Canada. We've installed over 50 specialty air systems using a TFP.

    Fantech

I see you handle the lifebreath unit but do you like the Fantech model better? Why?

This may sound like an echo, but

what do you want to catch in your filter?

Why do you want to catch, what ever it is, you want to catch, in your filters?

I would not recomend HPPA (.99% ) for any thing with moving air flow.

    More info needed.

    Good luck,

    Mark

    Harvey i hope I am

not to late to respond. I assume that post was directed at me. We picked up the Lifebreath line befoe fantech was available. I like the lifebreath cleanair furnace (hot water coil and HRV in one). You pop a cooling coil on top and this is a really slick set up. As for the Fantech the breath of their line (forgive the pun) is awesome. 7 year warranty on fans and the units are built really well. HRV, ERV, HEPA, commercial applications, pool de-humidification...you name it they have it. They have a guy on board, Rob Ferris, who is the pro from Dover (so to speak).
