Honeywell Radiator Valves & Thermostatic Actuators

This question does not deal specifically with any boiler problem I am having.

Some years ago I attended an auction at a refrigeration firm where the owner had died. Part of a group of items I purchased was a box of 8 Honeywell Radiator Valves (1/2" NPT) #V5061A 1055 and 8 accompanying Thermostatic Actuators, Remote Mounting #T5038B 1006. They are made in Sweden.

Are these type valves still in use for automatic room temp control or have I just kept them around because they're chromed and heavy? I'm not in the heating business so be gentle. Any suggestions of what to do with them that are fit to print?

    Old Braukmann valves

I don't find any listing of those numbers, so I'm sure they are obsolete. Yes, similar valves are still used today, and if these are still brand new, they certainly should work. Thermostatic radiator valves control one radiator or convector in one room. I hope this is useful to you.

Where else could anyone get such a quick response to a question? Thank you.
