I just fired a WM P- WGO3 boiler today and it wouldn't fire due to the lack of a TT jumper. Is this how the new OEM controls are set up ? Do we need to install our own jumpers?

A reminder for Oil-Fired Wallies...
The past several weeks with the record cold and Siberian blizzards have all of us running on empty, so it is easy to forget something. I've been getting lots of calls recently concerning constant calls for heat on the new R7184B1024. The controls that are out there now have a jumper across the TT terminals. That jumper MUST be cut if you are installing them in HOT WATER or WARM AIR systems. Yes, that info is in the Installation Instruction sheet (I looked)! R7184B1024's dated coded February 03 no longer have the jumper. Just a quck "heads-up."0 -
Hey Bill...
I just fired a WM P- WGO3 with Becket burner and 7184 control boiler today and it wouldn't fire due to the lack of a TT jumper. Is this how the new OEM controls are set up ? Do we need to install our own jumpers?
