Contaminated Controls
Eddy
Member Posts: 21
I've got a pneumatic control system in an industrial complex and some bone head shut down the air dryer over the weekend. I was testing a valve actuator and when I pulled the air line off I got a shower. In the old days I used R-11 to flush out a contaminated system. Does anyone have any new, enviromentally correct method of cleaning up the goo?

Flush for Pneumatics
There is a flush for this, it is not cheap but it does work. I used it on a jobsite that never had a dryer on the system, and the supply compressor was in a damp basement. I can't remember the name, but I should be going to the supply house in the am and will email you or post here the name of the product. I beleive it is called Nu Flush but not sure.0 -
