Correct me if I am wrong, The supply and return tees are supposed to be no more than 4 pipe sizes apart, right?
What,if any, is the reccomended distance betwwen one set
of S/R tees and the next set of S/R tees?
Thanks

the closer the better
on the S&R tees. With a T-drill I can get down to about 2". The goal is to have as little pressure drop as possible between the branches. Although zero pressure drop is almost impossible. The goal is to eliminate any encouragement to flow, or ghost flow, to those branches. The new intergral check pumps pretty much solve that problem for you.
Put as much distance as possible to the next set of tees. 12" would be nice, but I have seen panels with as little as 6" that appear to work fine. In my opinion.
