Post & Disappear

ask a question and 20 people jump in and give you an answer. It is like going back to school. Wait a minute I slept thru school.

  • If you post a question

and some of us go to work to find you an answer. Sometimes a lot of research involved and time. Please do not disappear never to be heard from again, talk to us let us know it worked for you. We love helping you but need your feedback.

Maybe it is just good for an OLD MANS ego!!!
  • I suspect...

that most people think this site is like 99% of the other self help sites out there. Post a question, and come back in a week and see if anyone has responded. They don't realize the dynamic capacity of this place. It's like a living journal/dynamo, and it goes away in 3 days if its not responded to.

Its people like you that make it work so well Timmie. Keep up your good work.

    Wow!

I can't imagine what you would know if you had stayed awake.

Great suggestion. There are many issues that are resolved that we could all learn from.

I only recently came across this forum. I posted a question on how to clean the fins on my baseboard rads and got a couple of very helpful replys suggesting compressed air, which I had not thought of. (I did think of reversing the shopvac, but didn't think further). I will borrow a compressor and finish the cleaning asap (outside temp today is minus 22 c)
I find the technical discussions fascinating and educational, so if I need to call in a pro I will, Number 1, know what I need done, and,2, know if I am in fact dealing with a pro or not.
As a homeowner, I can do most things myself, but I am quick to understand when I need help, and when I DO need help, I need a pro. And I am willing to pay for what I get. I also want what I pay for.
So, I may not post alot, but I will be stopping by to visit regularly
    Thanks alot

    Not only...

...are Wallies very knowledgeable, they are a great bunch of people, too. I've met many of them in person and they have been very kind to me, despite my profession!
