forced air books

good books about forced air? I have done some work on these systems in the past, and can install new systems, but I am not very good at troubleshooting. I get a few calls a week for this type of work, and would like to get more involved in it.

I also am looking for a good computer program for sizing central air conditioning for homes. My wholesaler does this for me now, but I don't like to rely on them too much. Plus, it takes them a week or two to do it for me.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

    HVAC heat loss/Heat gain software

If you're in New England or New York my company offers on-line access to it's client base. We provide a software program that's quite comprehensive.
Does both gain/loss and replies in both btu's/hr. and cfm.

Go to HVAC-talk.com and get the soft ware they advertise it is quick and easy. The guys on there are mostly forced air and know alot about it. As a matter of fact I got this site from there.

    Try RSES for

training. Refrigeration Service Engineers Society has an excellent training program. They now have it hooked up to learn at home by computer in the middle of the night.

    Controls are controls.

    Who sizes your duct work?

    Books

Check out OilTechTalk.com for books on Oil heat. Great books avalible from Alan and George. Check out Timmie posted below for your gas books, also great. I use Right J from Wrightsoft for sizing of equipment and Right D for duct sizing. ACCA has very good books on these topics. GOOD LUCK
