I am designing a job for floor warming. It will be a staple up job with 3/8" onix and the contractor would like to use heat transfer plates. Does anyone have any ideas or experiance with jobs of this type? Thanks in advance for any help.

To the best of my knowledge....
no one makes a plate that ill work with 3/8" Onyx. I did a job once where we drove the Onyx into some extruded heat transfer plates. It was one TOUGH job, and I'd never consider doing it again.
Check with Watts Radiant to be sure, but I don't think anyone makes them.
