    Wow,what a find!

Interestingly they note "it works well in MOST parts of the country." "If you use well water send a sample to their labs for analysis."

Theirin lies the key to sucessful copper radiant! You need to know what is contacting the outside, and what the properties and chemistry of the fluid on the inside. And hope it never changes.

Wish the plastic and epdm manufactures would have been this forthcoming early on:) Like they are now, right? :) wink, wink!

I'd love to have a copy of that folder.

    There's An Old...

...Audels book - "House Heating Guide - Including Ventilating And Air Conditioning" (1948), and it has a chapter on radiant heating. It happens to specifically mention "Tests, as reported by Chase Brass & Copper Co. indicate these surfaces transfer their heat in about the following proportions..."

These old books roll through ebay periodically. Almost 1,000 pages, with lots of photographs and diagrams. Some of the info is outdated, but huge chunks of it are still very valid. The surprising part isn't how much has changed, it's how little.

    copy

How do you copy that from the computer? Same problem on a radiant heating tube with plate attachment on another discussion? Is there a way to make a copy when it is that large? I'm not great with computers?

You can use an image editing program like Photoshop or Corel Photo Paint to resize the image so it can be printed on regular 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
