CAST SECTION PROBLEMS??

in THE MAIN WALL
Is anyone else running into section problems with Weil McLain boilers CG series(end of 99/beginning of 2000)? Had one the other day that 5 of 7 sections were cracked (all middle sections on a packaged boiler)with one section having a large chunk missing, and now got my second call with a cracked section (not sure how many yet but it's an 8 section boiler) same series.

    Hmm.

    Could the unit have had a run in w/ some internal ice? Been real coooold this year. Might want to check the rest of the system.

    Weil is normally very responsive about inspecting the boiler on the job, or if necessary, at the plant.
