ETS

I have been looking into ETS (Electric Thermal Storage) for low cost and efficient hot water supply for radiant floor heating. I searched the Wall and nothing came up. Does any one have any experience with this type of heating? The power company in Granby, CO can't say enough great things about ETS, but they are also the dealer. They quoted me an off peak rate for electricity that would be 50-75% less per Kw than an ordinary customer and claim it to be 100% efficient. I was looking into geothermal but this seems to be a much lower cost up front. The heating/storage unit is manufactured by Steefes Corp. Any info would be appreciated.

Small world...
I have property over the hill from you at Green Mountain Reservoir and am on the same power company (Mtn Parks Electric)and I was talking with my office manager, whose hubby just happens to be in the solar electric business. My place is a weekend home, and I thought "Why not set up a PV system that would spin the meter backwards whenever the sun shines up here..." Still looking into the feasability and economic viability.
Any way, the information you're looking for can be found at http://www.steffes.com/default.htm
I found them using google.com search engine.
Everything they told you is correct.
Good Luck!
