Thanks John
I spent $50 bucks filling up my truck today (San Diego County). 24 gallons @ 2.08 per gallon - regular unleaded - 87 octane. What a way to start the week after last week's insurance wakeup call (we just got through with our renewal). When someone calls for a price quote now, we tell them that is today's price, tomorrow it'll probably be more. We're just trying to hang on till things even out, but I think we're still in for a wild ride.

camp pendlton(sp) boy has it changed since then. paid 1.83 for diesel today. surcharge here we come.0 -
fuel surcharge
UPS has had one since gas went over $1.25 and no body stopped using their services. The customer has to pay the FULL cost of service. NOT our children and brides. Ask Frank Blau. ( Did I just restart a war?)0 -
Not high enough ...
... for some folks. Last night when my wife and I went for our evening walk (18 deg. F), the usual garage doors with living spaces above were wide open. We're all fueloil here. Guess $1.74 isn't enough to encourage common sense, let alone conservation. Then this morning, there's the GMC Yukon down the block doing its 30 minute (no exaggeration)warmup that it does every day before Mom takes the youngun to school. Cheapest unleaded here is $1.72 (yesterday).
We'll soon forget that arm/leg/firstborn sign, though. Anyone care to predict the cost of #2 oil and gasoline 1 year from now? I'll start ... $1.20 for unleaded, $1.15 for #2 oil.0 -
$2.15 a gallon for the cheep stuff here in Northern California:-( You guys and gals got it good!0 -
In vancouver B.C.
It was reported on this morning news - .91 cents a liter. Which works out to 4.14 a cdn gallon. In my service van I use propane - and that's at about 65 cents liter for fuel gas. Cheaper than gasoline but not much!0
