Dirty sight glass after new radiator installed

We had a small cast-iron upright radiator installed y'day and now our boiler's sight glass is very dirty. We've flushed the boiler water twice (was black) and the water is better, but the sight glass has scum stuck to it now. Is this normal with a new radiator? Any tips on cleaning the sight glass?
