Your BTU's/sqft/deg day

For sqft/deg day?

Just worked mine out and it's 4.68. Deducted 2CCF for domestic (average summer usage) and .75CCF for a gas fireplace that my wife has on constantly in one room.

You have to Interpolate a little. The BTU's/sqft/deg day with domestic & that fireplace were 6.69.

How do all of yours fare?

    Egads!

    Where do we start?

    CCF = 100 cubic feet?

    Good Morning Duncan!!

    Our billing from the Utilities Company gives me the CCF/day average usage. Otherwise divide the total CCF usage by the 3 of days in the billing period. For LP, get the gallons since last delivery and divide by # of days.

    So... CCF/day x 100MBTU for Natural gas and Gallons of LP/day x 90MBTU (although here in the Springs they say 91600.

    I had 10CCF/day (before taking out the domestic & the FP)
    Thats 100000/5200 (my Sqft)/ deg days (the springs was 28.75 for my billing period) You can find that on Weatherunderground.com among other places.

    That gave me 6.69 rounded to 2 figures.

    Once you do it its easy and kinda shows your systems efficiancy.
    If you can deduct the domestic & other appliances then you have a more acurate "Heating" efficiancy.
