Air Bleeding Problems
Kyle Blomgren
Member Posts: 1
I have been having a difficult time bleeding air from lines. I have a 4-zone loop system. I seem to be able to trap the air in one loop and bleed each time it passes through the system. My problems occur when I just seem to be getting on top of the air, the system pressure drops low enough causing the need to put more water into the system. Any Suggestions? I have one automatic bleeder on the common return just before it returns into the furnace. Should I install one of these somewhere in each zone? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try pumping away in a primary-secondary set up. I don't know enough about the house to determine this but, when I have multi-zones I eliminate on the primary zone and pump away everywhere. Size the eliminator properly and there should not be a problem.
