heating for best air quality for weakened immune system

Hello:
I know very little about HVAC/Plumbing. I have a weakened immune system do to medical condition.
I currently have heat by steam, gas, boiler in my home. Should I convert to baseboard, hot water, gas, boiler, in view of my medical condition? Or something else. More generally, what is the best heating system for a person with a weakened immune system. Does it matter? Thank you for your help.

heating with air
I may get a lot of critisism for this from the wallies but...
with warm air, you have options for the duct work, such as electrionic air cleaners, uv mold/germ killers, allergen air filters, duct board, humidifiers....0 -
I firmly believe that
Heating and ventilation are two different issues. Related, but very different. If ventilation/air cleaning is addressed in a ducted heating system you wind up with the ventilation/air cleaning part of the system running only 1/2 the time or less. Of course if a standard hydronic heating system is used, then you are forced to address that issue completely on its own. This is as it should be.
I have found through experience that a seperate ventilation/aircleaning system operating on its own is a much better solution. We did a large home using a seperate system some time ago. The lady of the house says that dusting is practically a thing of the past. "I've never had a house that stays so clean" was her comment to me.
On that particular (panel radiator heated) home we used a very simple duct system to move air to and from a Lifebreath TFP filter. In conjunction with that a Lifebreath heat recovery ventilator was also installed to bring fresh outdoor air into the home while recovering most of the heat lost to ventilation.
This type of system addresses nearly all the requirements of good ventilation and air cleaning in a common residence without spending huge amounts of funds on medical grade equipment.0
