    Rigid #15

I have a #150 that does the same thing. With my #15 cutter the pin holding the cutting wheel in place constantly works loose. I have decided the next time I buy a pipe cutter I will not by a rigid one, these are simply design problems that they should have fixed years ago.
  • send them back.....

    Loose screw

Are you left handed? Or do you turn the cutter in the "wrong" direction? It really does make a difference which way you turn the cutter. Honest

I didn't know there was a right direction to turn the cutters? I've been going clockwise for 25 yrs. Am I doing it right? LOL

Mine did it too. Shouldn't have to fix it myself, but a drop or two of Lok-tite will hold it there. Hasn't come off since

    I'm a lefty

I find my self never going completly around the pipe anyways, all my cutters are so old they thread if you do! I have heard that cutting the wrong way with a steel cutter wears the blade faster.

    Buy Imperial Eastman

I've never used Ridgid tube cutters, but I've been using Imperial Eastman cutters for 15 years. The first one I bought 15 years ago is still just as good as the day I bought it. Great Quality!!!
