Jim F. Question
How do you connect the split ring hangers to the black pipe for your piping support?0 -
what it actually made of 3/8 threaded rod with a cieling flage to the floor and a piece of 1/2 black pipe with nuts a washers pulled together to support the rod so the wieght of the header wont bend the rod......works great with 1/2 emt also!!0 -
Thanks Jim
I going to give that a try.0 -
You have a good
installation there. You didn't try to save a buck, and get by with a smaller spirovent.I looked at one the other day where the installer put an 1.5" spiro vent right on the back of a 0012. I mean right on the back. the primary loop is done in 2" and then it bushes down at the vent. It puts the velocity through the vent waaaaay off it's curve. It takes it hours to remove the air instead of minutes. I have never had a problem with a properly sized vent on the return side. Paul.0
