Corian and radiant ??

the corian could handle radiant temperatures. I've seen installers place burning cigarettes on it! The adhesive used to attach it may be the weak link, for radiant temperatures possibably.

Under conter for whirlpool
We are installing climate panel in a master bathroom and thought it would be a good idea to put it around the whirlpool tub. This was supposed to be qranite but has been changed to corian.
Should I be concerned with the temp of the water under the corian ??

I would sincerely check with the mfgr
The heat level shouldn't be a problem--lowest rating for temp resistance before any flexing I found was 208°.
Found one table with "Thermal Cycling" rating 50°-150° @ 1 gpm--400-1,000 cycles. DuPont's technical info was down when I searched.0 -
corian cement
I think the glue is a two part epoxy type cement. I have helped my dad, the cabinet maker, with several counter tops, including one that we inlaid a design a filled with a different color glue. I have seen hot pans on them with no ill effects.
