Unless their has been some major design breakthrough, this must be gas only?

I saw one at the Buderus factory a month ago. The unit they had running was gas fired, with a clear flue pipe . The instructor says it looks like it's raining in the flue when it was running on high fire .The cutaway in the lobby was interesting to say the least . The drip line coming out of the back was at least 1", as was the drip line off the flue pipe in the test room boiler. I believe he said they were both oil and gas fired .(holes in the swing door for power type burner) Whole lotta steel for the worlds largest cat iron maker ! Chris
  • I saw a whole bunch of them....

at ISH 4 years ago. Was actually promised one for the school to experiment with. They're actually Dutch made. I'm still holding my breath... In the mean time, I'm writing this fromt he annual Spring Home and Garden show, and I've got a Vitodens boiler in the booth. You snooze, ya lose.
