I am still very curious of the exact temps of oil flame vs. Gas flame? Any good info. or resources? THANKS for any input!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flame temp chart
There's a chart at: < http://www.bacharach-training.com/Combustion Zone/Comb/3T/combustion_efficiency_can_be_fur.htm > you can use to approximate flame temperature of different fuels at various excess air levels.
Go down to the Temperature section.
