I"ve never used an Ergomax but have read that they can be used as buffer tanks. How many taps do they have for this purpose and how large are they. Thanks in advance

Is there an elephant in the room no one is talking about?? Is there a problem no one wants to discuss?? Is it just a plain bad idea?? I got a bad feelong about this.

Ie Ergomax still around?
the issue I see is not enough taps into the boiler side of the tank to allow paralel piping arangements. If series is an option they would work, in my opinion.
I have seen a Thermomax brand that looks similar.

same as hot rod
The ergomax needs another set of tappings. As is, you either have it piped in series with the boiler, causing stored water to be pumped through the boiler heat exchanger even while burner off (quickly wastes heat) or you have boiler pump and heating pump fighting each other.
