They do have a presence here, albiet small. I looked at their oil fired equipment a while back and as good as it is, Viessmann offers a similar boiler in the Vitorond 200 which is, it seems, a higher quality boiler.

i've seen these in nurmberg about 5 years nice unit but all the european boiler are really nice a bit more money than americans are used to spending but they spend more on fuel and reasearch and development than american companies.they really put thought into there systems like flue condensationreset controller and effect on flue gases condensation.unlike us who put in spark ingition and leave a flue liner to someone else unlike europeans and i know about direct venting is the solution right alot of really good boilers are out there but if outside the boiler is not done correctly the effenecy of a boiler is in vain like europes strict insulatoin codes on heating pipes no foam insulation there just high denisty glass it's a super hard sale here price seems to dictate everything here try buderus hydronic systems saw alot of them in germany and most of the heating guys like them over vissman and they where priced a little friendler

We are

currently looking at possibly bringing on this boiler line. Our market is flooded with Buderus and it seems that it won't be too long before it becomes just another commidity.

I still a big fan of the Viessmann Vitorond over either of the boilers though.
