Here's a Viessmann job with 20 Radson rads, a radiant basement floor, and an indirect. I'll get some more shots of the piping up soon

MUST BE NICE
Must be nice to have all of that room. Geeze you could drive a Mack truck around that boiler. Nice lookin' job, lookin' foreward to the rest of the pics0 -
Purty!!
I notice you're using a 3 way. For the radiant? What does the return temp come back to the boiler at? I believe the VBC boiler can handle an 80 degree return with the modulating chassis burner. I'd be interested to know if the 3 way can maintain temps above the condensing stack temp. Great looking job, Gary

3 way
yes, it is a 3 way, but keep in mind it is a P/S. I didn't measure the delta t yet, but the return is coming back pretty toasty

Here are some more shots. The pic of the primary pump must have vanished, but it's up near the ceiling to the left of the SS. There is an expansion tank on the floor next to the SS. We fed the water at the Spirovent, where the exp tank is connected as well. The primary pump is just after the Spiro. There ar no valves or fittings at the boiler, just out to the system. Obviously the safety header is there, with a lwco. The primary pump is a 1542, the rad system pump is a 26-64, the radiant pump is a 1542. The 1 1/2" copper primary main is oversized, we had some left over from a commercial job and decided to use it up. Besides, I think it looks kinda tough!
