I was up in New York City Two weeks ago.
I found this baby in SOHO. To be more specific Prince street.

The steam system was installed in 1880. This noisy monster is a Two Pipe vapor air vent system. It was job from hell...
While I checked ot the apartments I found two huge puppies still in service.
They were manufactured by A.A Griffing Iron
