Anyone with ICP products, beware of faulty defrost boards.
After spending a week chasing my butt and getting the run around, ICP calls me and says yes we have had a problem with cetain defrost baords and there replacements. The boards were made by ICM. Some worked and some did not. But they waited almost a year before telling anyone. We replaced 6 boards on a unit, before finding out the truth. All the way from the wholeseller to the factory, no one would admit there was a problem until today. Then all they would say, we just found out today ourself. If you have a ICP heatpump and the board fails, before replacing it; make your wholeseller double check the replacement board. Even some of the replacement boards are faulty.
