efficient steam boiler

Please help me with some manufacturers of new steam boilers. Current boiler was installed in 1993. My problem is with the 300,000 btu's and my gas bill last month of
$ 600.00.

Can I do better with a new boiler with a higher efficiency?

I have a 4000 sq ft 100 year old farm house in Pittsburgh PA

I personally like the Crown Boiler products. I have done some consulting to this company and feel very confident about the quality of their products and warranty.

The bigger issues on a steam boiler replacement are not necessarily boiler related. Make sure it is sized to the connected load! Also, make sure the installer does not use the installation instructions for knee pads. The near boiler piping needs to be "dead-on".
