The MZ is a nice boiler. We have used quite a few. I think the new Vitodens is sweet if the coin is available. Wehave yet to install one though.

    I need a wall-mounted boiler

    I need to replace a wall-mounted Hi-Tech HI-18-NE boiler, 120 MBH NG input. A Heatmaker HP would be ideal. Anybody know where I can find one, now that they've quit making them?

    Something to look at. Now mind you ,I have never used one , in fact I have never seen one , rep was in last week w/ a catalog for NTI ----------NY Thermal Inc. They are out of Sussex, New Brunswick Canada . ww.nythermal.com

    wall mount boilers

    I will certainly recomend the the Viessmann, Vitodens. I have installed two so far and one of them is in my home. They are really nice boilers. It is a modulating boiler with an outside temperature reset.

    I would agree with the posts above. Viessmann's Vitodens is well-referenced on this site and should always be considered. There are, however, other good products out there that shouldn't be overlooked. Monitor's MZ has a sales rep without peer in Matt Connolly and his company offers an advanced oil boiler as well as gas wall-hungs. Quietside's QVM9 has an excellent tech support person at headquarters in California that makes their product worth considering, too. In the end, we installed NTI's Trinity last fall after finding it best fit our application. We have been most pleased with its performance during our coldest winter in recent memory.

    Wall hung boiler

    I have installed 3 viessmann vitodens wall mounted boilers and I can tell you that the are all that.
    No, it's not the lowest cost product on the market. Yes, it is the best value. I recommend giving the Vitodens a long hard look.
