Still Dropping

10:20 PM here in the heart of the Adirondacks temp just hit -24 and still dropping fast. Already got my pad out to start the list for service calls that ought to start ringing by 5:30 or 6 AM. Gotta love it!

    Still getting warmer....

and warmer...here in Alaska. Woke up the other morning and it was 44 deg., (20 deg. cooler up where Terry is at) with a clear sky. In January? The snows gone, lake is thawing, and the phone is still ringing with no heat calls. Seems to be a lot of stuff out there that is in such bad shape, or installed so wrong, it has no right to run in any weather.
Strangest year I have seem in over 20 years here.

  • Unheard of temp's

here in S.W. Louisiana on the Gulf coast. 28 F now, and dropping to 23-24 by 6am.

Folks here don't even buy clothes for this kind of weather, unless they're hunters or from out of state.

    Brrrrrrr.

The gas valve went bad on my own furnace. Talk about the cobblers kids with no shoes. Glad my little girl's not here this weekend :O(

    pee

I think it has to be down to -45 or lower for that to happen. I remember it hitting -48 here when I was a kid but not recently. It made it down to -29 here last night. Phone started ringing at 6:30 and got last service call done at 3: 30. It is now -6sure tomorrow will be same.
