Leaking section in Burnham '809'

Got a call to look at a boiler problem recently - the source of 'no heat' turned out to be someone shut the emergency switch off, assumably thinking it was a light switch (even though clearly labeled, etc.)
One boiler had developed a leak - after removing burners to examine, I discovered a leak at the bottom at the casting seam in #5 section from left to right. The office building is limping along on one boiler - thankfully these were slightly oversized, so the one is just able to keep up with demand.
Not being Burnham dealers and the installer is a long gone, out-of-town firm. Can anyone tell me what their "10 year warranty" covers? Manufacture date on the '809' is 10-1998. I've visited the Burnham website, e-mailed my questions and after a week, the only response was the generic "notice that we received your e-mail and you will hear from us soon..."
Were it not for warranty situation, I'd have our welder braze this hole and go on with life. Suggestions??
Thanks - Greg

Greg,
The best avenue for taking care of this situation is to get in touch with the local Burnham representative for your area. They would more than likely want to visit the jobsite to make certain where the source of the leak is. E-mail me with your name, number and location and I will contact our local rep. for you. I momitor this site every day (even weekends) and will get the ball rolling for you. Hope this helps.
