Venmar Systems

Guys:

Anybody familiar with Venmar fresh air systems?
Any of you fellas installed any? Any problems?
Saw my first one a couple days ago. Customer claims it is very effective providing fresh air throughout the home winter & summer. I wonder how it effects the Air Conditioning, bringing in fresh outside air in summer months? Anybody??

    Venmar HRV's

    Hi John,
I have installed quite a few Venmar HRV's and have found
them to be very reliable. Check out their new products at
www.venmar-ventilation.com and look at the duo model, if you
    are interested in winter/summer ventilation.
Another very good manufacturer of HRV's is Lifebreath
and they can be found at Nutech Energy Systems when
searching the web. I have a venmar hrv in my home and would
never do with out it. I find it compliments well with radiant heating. Nothing better for a home than fresh air
and warm floors. Venmar also has very good tech support.

    Regards, Mike Lampkin

    Hi Mike!

Thanks for the input. I'll check out the websites.
How does the system affect air Conditioning, as it is bringing in outside air in the summer months?
I'm considering one for my own home, but need to find out more about them.

    I have a Lifebreath 200max

in my new home. Last week when my brother was over he said "hey, you don't have any condensation on your windows!" :)

If I set it to 20 on / 40 off you can sure tell when it's off. works great w/ radiant.

    Don't know about A/C. What's that?
