Has anyone had to deal with old Stadler 12mm tubing and RTI panels leaking? This is the third job we have look at with this problem. They all seem to leak at the fitting.
1. Can we still get 12mm fittings to fit the tubing and RTI panels?
2. Has anyone tried converting from Stadler 12mm tubing to Wirsbo 3/8 tubing?
The manifold is a mess also looks like it is ready to go any day now. I am tring to find away to convert the tubing so that I can get onto Wirsbo mainfolds.
Any help guys?

Just curious
is that a glycol filled system? Glycol is a drag on threaded brass fittings, sometimes. The blue color seems suspicious. If not check the ph of whatever is in the system. The leaks could be related to the condition of the fluid, maybe
Sorry, can't answer your fitting question.

No glycol
in the system just water. We have seen this alot with the stadler manifolds and fittings. Homeowners don't want to hear of anything elese but fix the fittings. The piping around the boiler is real bad too.

RadiantPanels
John-
There are some fittings that you can get. Teh yare a newer style and will work with 3/8" PEX.
Just a couple of things though;
The good news: The new manufacturer of the RadiantPanel is Hydronic Alternatives www.hydronicalternatives.com. You can get new fittings from them.
The bad news: You need to take the panels off the wall, cut abount an inch of the end of the panel, rethread them with a machine thread 1/4-20 and loctite the new fittings in.
Good luckDave Holdorf
