Ridgid Praise
Reverse stopped working on our portable 600 dies. Before dropping off for repairs I openened the handle and found one of the terminal screws missing on the fwd/rev switch. While screwing the repair shop out of some $$, I spent several days on and off unsuccessfully hunting a replacement screw. It's a small metric one(3.5mm)I think. Anyway, I emailed Ridgid and they mailed me some screws. Just thought I'd plug their Company for solving one of my life's little (3.5mm) problems. Thanks Ridgid. I didn't realize how that little set of dies had spoiled me. I did, however get an excellent upper body workout in the interim.
While I was in there I checked the other screws and found one other one loose. Not a bad idea to check these connections from time to time. These are some tough screws to come by...around here anyway.
