Hello guys, i need your help, i know from reading the wall for the past two years that you men and women out there are very caring, my little girl Amanda 11 yrs old, will be having surgery tomorrow at 1:45 in yale new haven hosp. she will be having a tomur removed from her head, they don't know what it is, they can not see it. its in her sinus cavity and expanding out and pressing on her brain shes a very brave little girl and knows that she will be ok but please keep her in your prayers she will need it , and i Thank you, and will up date you as soon as i get home thanks again for your prayers,... for offering advice at a time like this. I'm sure you've had plenty already, and who can think straight when you've got your darling girl on your mind.
I and my family are praying for you and yours. We believe healing is part of what Jesus provided for us on the cross. I definitely believe in prayer...in the old testament, God once even rebuked a king of Israel for seeking help from the doctor FIRST. It's not God's will that your little girl be sick. Much goes on in this sin wrecked world that is NOT the will of God. Having said that, I believe that there is an environmental/nutritional cause for benign tumors and malignant cancer and that's why it's so widespread now. When I read your post, I called my wife down and we prayed. Then I remembered ten years ago hearing a lady named Ann Frahm on the radio who had had chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant, radiation, you name it, and the doctors sent her home to die. She sought information on health and nutrition; and to make a long story short, she regained her health. She wrote a book called, "A Cancer Battle plan". The reason I remembered her story was that I had known a lot of friends and relatives who had undergone traditional cancer therapies, and she seemed to have much better results than they did. I have a good friend who is a clinical nutritionist, and I've heard lots of stories similiar to Ann's. I did a web search and found www.modernmanna.org They have her book and a lot of other very interesting looking articles. I take the liberty of suggesting it, because I thought it might encourage you and help you channel your energies into something constructive in addition to prayer. God once said that his people "perish for lack of knowledge". The immediate context has nothing to do with illness, but I believe the principle still applies. Ignorance of anything can be deadly. God bless the doctors for all they can do, but is it possible that we can take a more active role in our health by educating ourselves, and actually going on the offensive? Sometimes the better way is not so obvious... or popular. We will continue to pray for your little girl. Please keep us informed of her progress. Respectfully, Kevin O. Pulver
