Doh!

start to feel I'm finally getting the hang of things I am shown the folly of my ways and placed back to Humble Row. Replaced a really old boiler last month in Wash D.C. Installed a munchkin and thought everything went well. Customer was concerned about the steam from the flu pipe I had run up through the old chimney, and also said there was water trickling down the back downspout when ever the boiler ran for a while. Well I assured them that there was no way my boiler could be causing the water. It's down in the basement and the flu pipe couldn't produce water by God. We went just to ease the customers mind. I was sure it was melting snow or something like that. Turns out the old system it was an old system with no expansion tank. Just a tank in the top floor linen closet with a pipe through the roof to allow water expansion. Doh!!!(or is it spelled Doe???)It doesn't pay to be too confidant about anything.
