    Teaching your kid to drive

Being very proud of the fact I was a pilot, I offered to take my father (retired USAF) on a "space available" flight one day. He hessitently declined.

I assured him since he was retired USAF, he was entitled to be on the flight and there would be no problems.

He said "That's not it. You forget, I was the one who tried to teach you how to drive!"

(The old man knew how to get right to the heart of the matter.) 8-)

    We can do that.........

Helmet and goggles a must (we had a little windshield problem at the exit seven on ramp) but after a two day "non-crash" course, he should be able to drive the old man many different ways !!
