My mother.....

in THE MAIN WALL
Got a call from my Dad this morning.... My Mother who has suffered from Alzheimers went to be with the Lord
last night.... my Dad had lovingly cared for her at home for the last 7-8 years.....

I have tears of joy and sorrow falling on my keybaord at the same time.....

I am so thankfull that she now has a sound mind and a new body...... but

she will be missed!!!!

    Been there...lost my papa at thirteen...losing mama's and papa's is a bit different, but equally hard...god bless you and your family...she's at peace now brother.....Sad Dog

    My mother once told me...

    Ilost my mom on November 9,2002 and miss her terribly but she isn't suffering anymore. I read this at the end of her eulogy:

    Who ran to help me when I fell,
    And would some pretty story tell,
    Or kiss the place to make it well?

    easy knowing what a fine son and loving husband she has left behind. Spend time with your Dad if possible so that he will always feel her presence in you. Take care of the family Floyed, they will need you're guidance.

    also a relief, an end of suffering. My uncle recently lost his wife who he cared for the last ten years. May the good Lord bless and keep you and your family.

    I am saddedned to read of your sorrow. Help your father now. His sense of loss will be greater still as everything he did while your mom needed him has now stopped. His loss of being helpful, and the loss of his spouse will be very hard. I've experienced this fourteen years ago when I was 32. It was the toughest thing I've ever been through. Be there for your father and get closer to him. Your dad will be grateful even when he says he's just fine. Again, I am so sorry.
