Vitodens installation

of Jasper, IN just had me out to take a look at some projects and the work was so fantastic I had to show it off. The boiler is a Vitodens 200 6-24 used for rfh and domestic water through an indirect VI 300. The boiler is set up to operate at low temp. and shift into priority through the Vi supplied domestic kit. The low loss header (decoupler) is isolating flow through the boiler hex at 6 gpm and pumps move flow at 9 gpm on the system side. Finally, zone thermostats act as high limits and bring the pumps on / off based upon individual zone characteristics. If we have set this up correctly, the pumps will cycle very seldom as the correct water temperature will be continuously circulated.
Kudos to Bucket Mehringer and his guys on a very nice job. One other note, the homeowner had to be convinced that the boiler was firing because he could not hear it. Bucket has aboujt eight Vitodens projects in some level of completion under way. I will post them as I get some shots.
