all of dans books.radiant floor heating for the nonengineer is what started this whole obsession with me.I just started my floors up last week.Did the job on exsisting house I live in,pulled all the tubing myself did everything myself.now that its basically finished Im having post project depression..... Its great ,you will love it,DO the whole house.I have one room I didnt do and also an entry way. very noticable to go into a room with a cold floor.
But read yourself silly, ask all the questions you can.You are very fortunate to be in the planning stages of a home. spend the money it will be worth it.A lot of your questions can be answered just by reading the postings on this board.
Good luck
MIKE

Start off with a good design

If you've not done this before, get help.

Start off with a good heat loss and a solid design, and find out if your supply house has a hydronics specialist.

There are a thousand quirks to doing a design and install a service tech may or may not know.
