I tried emailing the technical support point of contact,(Maria?) and my mail just gets returned. I wanted her to ask your Honeywell engineers if there was an electrical heater of sorts designed to thermostatically begin warming the excel cabinet at lower temps to keep the display operational, you could call it the "Excel 50 Yukon Joe" cabinet heater!

Honeywell Excel 50 and cold weather
Trying to determine if anybody else has had a display/ controlling problem after the control is being exposed to temps below 34degrees F.0 -
Excel5000
The module you mention has a temperature rating 32F to 122 F. Can you move it to a warmer area or make a ductboard box for it? This is a commercial product that is supported in the field by an authorized distributor. If you can find who they are, they are your best source of help, followed by your local commercial Honeywell rep.0
