    RPZ

Paul, I have been searching for this info myself. The only one I came up with was David & Warshow in Maspeth. I was trying to find one closer to Westchester County.Chris

Illinois you must be a licensed plumber first, then State Dept. of Public Health gives a five day course and test, its called a CCCDI license. Backflow protection should be on all boilers

    backflow on boilers

Agreed, but what about open systems? Does a water heater become a boiler if used for hydronics? Is this a gray area or black & white?

    water heater boiler

If the water heater is used as boiler, yes. Open system as in open to atmosphere most definately, open as tied in with potable water, that is illegal in our state and in most I believe, although it goes on all the time.

    Bill,

I agree. What state are you in & is that in a code format you can copy or obtain for my use(G).

    Thanks,
